India is such a large country -over million square miles of changing topography. Divided into thirty-one states and territories. Geography and local produce have played great part in forming regional culinary traditions. Its multitude if languages, religions and food habits influenced by history

Tandoor is the name of a vat-shaped clay oven that is heated with mesquite wood, charcoal or even natural gas. The oven produces extremely high temperatures sealing the succulent juices of various marinated meats keeping them moist tender and flavorful.

All meats are marinated with fresh herbs and spices in a yogurt sauce and left to season overnight. Once seasoned, they are skewered and baked in the Tandoor with all fats being eliminated during the high temperature cooking process. This freshly-baked, mouth watering delicacy is then served directly from the clay oven on hot-sizzling platters to your table with condiments

At Tandoor of India, we offer the most authentic Indian food which has evolved over centuries to perfection. Each of dishes is prepared with a variety of spices and ingredients to create a distinct and individual taste. For centuries, some of these spices have been prescribed for their health imparting qualities and ancient healing properties.

Our fresh intergrients are skillfully cooked to preserve a low fat, high nutritional value, and prepared for your taste, from mild to medium to hot. We start the day with an exhaustive and delicious buffet with more than 35 items. You can also order a-la-carte during lunch.We also have dinner buffet on Tuesdays.

All entrees are served with Basmati rice. Our restaurant is spacious enough to seat around 120 guests. We also have private rooms for parties, business meetings and special occasions. We also cater to parties and special occasions. You can choose from our extensive menu.

They serve one of my favorite daily Lunch Buffets in the city. Dinner Buffet is on Tuesday night from 5 - 9:30 pm. They have live music every Friday in the evening.
